It worked earlier, then I got a missing image a minute ago, but after a refresh it's fine again for me.
And I concur that it's a nice lookin' one too. ;)

Alberto plays music that is of an atmospheric nature. Expect a journey through ambient, techno, progressive, and maybe even trance...

I am so going to be there..................I have been wanting to hear him ever since I found out he is a DJ in addition to being an artist.

Don't miss this Saturday with Cosmictraveler featuring Dj Alberto & Gramatron. Cosmictraveler's powerful sound-system is being brought in just for this experience along with a projected visual installation. It's going to sound and look crispy! I can't wait. No cover. Music begins at 10. See you tomorrow!

Unfortunately, the night failed to meet expectations. Around 10:30, he was playing some really nice down tempo stuff with some sexy grooves, then he cuts it, and slams you with Psy. Trance, and it wasn't even 11. That's when about 10 people got up and left. For the rest of the evening, his progression was not cohesive and offered very little in the neighborhood of anything atmospheric or "cosmic". He had some nice tracks here and there and a handfulll of really solid mixes, but overall his set was largely forgettable.
Saw some nice visuals at times, but it was awkward having to look at the ceiling. My friend and I agreed that it probably would have been more visually appealing on the closed curtain over the window overlooking the street. Would have provided more of an aura, but it was nice to have light effect over the dance floor.
I had a good time though. I can't complain too much since I didn't pay any cover, but we had a good time hangin out, watchin the scene change as the night went on . :D

Psy Trance is awesome. Alberto was awesome. Maybe those 10 people went to the Robbie Rivera show and it was no reflection on Alberto  :!: The guy played solid for over 4 hours. People were dancing their asses off. Looking at the ceiling was awesome...it is about opening your mind to something that is not everyday and just appreciate the talent and experience. Total love for the entire night. I can't wait for a full moon party and hope Alberto is the DJ.

Thanks for the input, it is encouraged and genuinely appreciated. Constructive feedback is always applied to future events. I hope that, overall, your experience was positive enough to consider joining us for *Quality* with Jason "Lemon" Lyman and Midislut next week.
