Actor Corey Haim, who rose to fame in the 1980s in such movies as The Lost Boys and License to Drive, died in the early-morning hours on Wednesday. It's suspected that Haim, who had struggled with substance abuse in the years following his '80s heyday, died of a drug overdose, though an autopsy is still pending. According to Coroner Lt. Cheryl MacWillie, Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, after collapsing in his mother's Oakwood, California, apartment. Sources tell TMZ that Haim, who had been suffering for the past few days from flu-like symptoms.
