The woman who led the Ohio Chamber of Commerce's endorsement of Republican Mike DeWine for attorney general had feuded with the Democrat incumbent, Richard Cordray, about decisions she complained hurt her private business.
Linda Hondros, president of Hondros College and founder of National Background Check, complained to Cordray a year ago that his decision to expand fingerprinting services for government background checks to many state Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices "will put my small business and many others out of business."
