At least a few of the protesters said government control over health-care is just an excuse for taking away the freedoms of Americans. Some of them say 'Obamacare' will take our country down a slippery slope toward losing all of our rights. Some of them said big government is not the answer, and that they would rather see tort reform and interstate competition of medical insurance companies, as part of a national effort to fix health-care.
In some ways, the health-care reform controversy involves the left-versus-right clashes we'd expect. But at least some people in both camps seem to agree on two things : the bill is unconstitutional because it requires people to have health insurance; and, two, people shouldn't be denied coverage because of preexisting conditions.
