The Ohio State University Department of Dance presents Dance@30 fps, a screening of contemporary dance films, on Thursday, January 19, at the Gateway Film Center, 1550 North High St. The evening kicks off with a series of 7 pm shorts from the UK, USA, Norway and Canada, including Stronger, There is a Place, All in All, Full Circle, Hoop, and more. At 8:30 pm, The Co(te)lette Film by Mike Figgis will be screened, followed by a panel discussion. The film is the director's adaptation of a dance performance by Ann Van den Broek, with three female dancers caught in a vicious circle of desire and fulfillment (intended for mature audiences).
