Thanks the Heavens or whatever, the Comfest schedule is up. So go to Comfest website and check it out. I think they heard about the grumbling about the Bozo(Main)Stage again and particularly on Friday, more there for the so called "Off Ramp" fans that recently some years never left that area due to all the "jam bands" on the Bozo stage. Maybe some new blood is coming into the Comfest committee, and yeah I know, why am I not on it after ten years in the Short North. Probably would irritate too many old timers with my suggestions.

YAY! Comfest is one of my favorite things in the world and one of the best things about Columbus. Of course, minus the 2 dozen jam bands back to back on the Bozo stage...although at times, it doesn't really matter what's or who's playing - and there's always another stage or three to check out.

I go every year and love it. But I don't think I've once gone because of the Music. it's just fun to hang out and eat/drink. is that wrong of me? heh

definitely nothing wrong with that! there's so much food and drink, and you are guarenteed to see at least a half dozen to dozen people you haven't seen since last year's comfest. the music is an added bonus :)

I LOVE Comfest. Hand's down the best people watching of the year. I will probably go down on Friday night for no other reason then to get steak on a stick and a funnel cake.

Check out BUM WEALTHY on the Bozo stage Saturday at 2. These guys have been one of columbus's secret talents for over 5 years now and they are really about to break through to the next level. They have over a hundred original songs and have yet to make a CD(though they are working on that). They were fantastic at Hempfest and on wed June 6th they filled Skullys with their small but devoted fan base. Right now I'm guest appearing with this unorthodox "jamband" as a scratch DJ. They are really a Funk/Ska/Raggea fusion band that isn't afraid to take chances. Come see for yourself!

Only festival I give a rat's ass about.
Donna MaGavero is always worth a look, X Rated Cowboys is usually fun, Willie Pooch...always a trip.
Forgot the performance art group who did the mannequin dancing thing last time, but would love to see that again too.
Anyways, many beer tokens+sun+hippies+boobs=fun.

Best weekend of the year. I think everyone should take Friday and Monday off. This year, I'm going to pace myself and not drink too much on Friday from over excitement. Right.

I've found my second wind comes with a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.
Oh and Friday...yep...I think I'll be waking up with a "flu bug" or something, lol.
