Yup! But we didn't get in. I suppose I could debate the reasons why, but those guys have played Comfest for pretty much the last 10 years straight, so it's been a pretty good run for a band that isn't a particularly large draw. LOL. It's fun to play Comfest, and it's fun to NOT play Comfest.

comfest needn't be overdone. it is crowded and can be annoying dodging wasted teens, pit-bulls, and petition gatherers. but i think it's all how you manage it. i've taken to giving up on trying to hit multiple venues and seeing everything. fortunately the majority of the bands i want to see are always at the Off-ramp Stage, so we just head down there and throw the blanket down about 100-feet back of the tent and relax all day. it ends up being a really nice, relaxing day in the park with music, friends dropping by and the occassional trip for food and beer.

The Franklinton Arts District crew will be doing our oversized live painting thing on all three days. We're going to set up at the top of the sledding hill up near Buttles. it should add to the already cool view from that side of the park. come by and say hey!

I'll be there photographing again this year. I don't have as many bands playing this year as in the past(Big Nasty and In3D are my only two this year) so if anyone has anything going on that they'd for sure like pics of PM me and let me know. If not, I'll probably just wander around.

Thanks for the info. I love Comfest but I can’t recall ever being really psyched for one particular band. I am really interested to see what Titonton does LIVE and what he’s been up to in Brooklyn.

Don't forget you can volunteer a few hours of your time to make this the best festival in the USA. Seriously, we count on volunteers for all kinds of services so go to http://www.comfest.com and sign up. Give a few hours of your time, get a few beer tokens and a t shirt for your effort. I've done it for the last 4 yrs and will keep doing it as long as i can.
I also take 4 days off work for this, like a mini vacation in the middle of my home town. But forgot to take Monday off to recover...oops

I'm looking forward to it. The Panel Collective got their booth notice a couple weeks ago. It'll be our 5th year at the fest. Cross our fingers if it rains, it's not like the downpour like Saturday last year.
