There is a open public reception of the entries for "Columbus Re-Wired" on Thursday, September 6 at The Smith Brothers Hardware Building. All entries, as well as the winners, will be on display. The event is free; cash bar.

“Columbus Re-Wired†is an ideas competition seeking a wide array of creative design proposals in the realm of urban design and architecture in order to initiate a dialogue about the current and future state of Columbus’ public transportation network in the context of its overall infrastructure.
The competitors are being asked to think critically and respond to general conditions and potentials vis-à-vis a speculative reading of 1) Columbus’ transportation and infrastructural “networks†and then; 2) act on that speculation using one of three prototypical sites located in The Arena District, Weinland Park/Ohio Expo Center, and Linworth (near Worthington).



Launched in August 2010, TheMetropreneur.com is a local online resource devoted to small business development and entrepreneurship. Its aim is to tell the stories of Central Ohio's business community, foster regional economic development and assist entrepreneurs with its resource-heavy focus.
