CD101 'not going anywhere'

Randy Malloy is sick of fighting off the Christians -- or rumors of their imminent takeover of his radio frequency, at least. The general manager and president of CD101 has been defending his station against rumors for weeks, since news broke on Radioinsight.com that WRFD, a Christian-talk radio station, might have been negotiating to purchase the rights to broadcast on 102.5 FM -- WWCD's current home.

I only wish CU would properly report what actually happened and has since happened with the same intensity it "reported" the stations demise.
I just thought from the beginning, the reporting on this issue (I'll call it that instead of story) from various sources, not just here, reeked of the rumor mill and nothing much else. Normally it not a big deal, but people still say it's becoming a christian station next month, or that it's going away... things that aren't true.

Whatever the case may be people have been saying "hey did you guys see that CU is saying that CD101 is going away"...
I guess I was critical of the vehicle. Ah theses interwebs

This was all speculation on an internet messageboard. I fail to see how this was covered by the site. This isn't like the Dispatch blasting a story about an attempted murder on the front page, and then posting a retraction that it was a slap to the face on page 37.

"CU" never said that CD101 is going away. There are multiple users here who discussed this issue though, as I'm sure they also did via Twitter, Facebook, on the phone, in person, etc.
It sounds like you're mixing up community discussion on a topic with some sort of "official reporting".

So does this mean "Sir Randall" is now "King Randall?" He seems to be the only knight strong enough to pull the sword from the stone and save the realm against the invading...uh...Fish.
Congratulations to him and the CD101 staffers. "Business as usual" at CD101 is anything but usual, and I hope they keep broadcasting as long as they wish.
