Did you really take the time to register on CU, just so your first ever post could be you making fun of the idea that anyone would find CU interesting enough to make/watch a documentary about? Great way to introduce yourself to the community, Karl…

Then it’s settled! The centerpiece of the whole documentary will be about Karl!

You have got to give the people what they want!

A good doc maker can make anything interesting. Because everything is interesting.

Personally, I’ve always been fascinated by the question of how Walker took what for most people is just a time-wasting hobby and turned it into a thriving business and a viable alternate media outlet. But hey, YMMV.

    Anyway, welcome to CU, Karl.

Thank you, Chris. But it’s still just a time wasting hobby. That fact hasn’t changed.

As opposed to so many other hobbies? And yet there have been documentaries on those hobbies.

Seriously, who peed in your Metamucil this morning Karl?

Once you make your living at it, it’s no longer a hobby.

Lot of weird posts this morning.

Any hipster with a decent SLR camera and a Vimeo account can make a documentary. The topic no longer needs to be worthwhile. So knock yourself out!

It seems we have been dismissed and now we need to get off his lawn.
