Does anyone know when the census information will become public? Like 2011? I'm interested to see how much Columbus has grown! Any guesses (population wise) ?

Columbus generally grows by acquisition

That really didn't answer my question, which was more along the lines of just a general discussion about the city and where it will rank after the 2010 census results come out? Nevermind! CU really kills the whole discussion board vibe sometimes.

I'm not sure when, but I heard that this census will be quicker than usual. So maybe by the end of the year. And I think Columbus will have a population of 759,500.

Walker is ruthless about keeping the QA section on topic. At the other end he gives the most leeway in the General discussion area.
Your question was "I'm interested to see how much Columbus has grown! " Anexation of surrounding areas has a major impact on city population ranking.
The City of Columbus publishes the population growth (or Population decline) information here. http://development.columbus.gov/Bizdevelopment/Demographics/Columbus/Colpopulationboundry.asp
From the city info you can argue that the city has had a net decrease by 9% or a net increase by 12%

1 person.
Well, the variance depends upon whether I'm going to get away with counting my dog or not.
on the price is right, there would be a contestant, the last to bid, who would think everyone overbid and would guess $1. Occasionally tho, someone would bid $1, only to maybe not have realized that guessing $1 when NOT the last to bid.
