This is both a reminder to the familiar, and an informational post to the otherwise unaccustomed that the Columbus Asian Festival 2010 is quickly approaching.
One of the largest Asian festivals in the nation and always held on Memorial Day Weekend, it's a great way to kick off the warm weather festival season here in Columbus.
Live stage performances, exciting kickball, unique crafts, are well worth the trip, but what brings me back every year is the food. Asian food from several different countries all in one open area is a sight to see, smell and taste. Indian, Cambodian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and more - all in open market and yours to choose from.
The salad rolls from Cambodia with the fragrant dipping sauce were my favorite, as well as the hand made masala dosa from India.
