Myself and several friends have decided to start hosting bi-weekly illustration meet-ups and work parties at my studio at the Millworks. We are set up to accommodate both digital and traditional artists, though we do ask that if some of your materials are a bit noxious, that you leave them at home.
A little bit about us as a group: Most of us are CCAD Alumni who majored in illustration, but all disciplines are welcome. We're a mixed bag of digital and real media artists. We're dorks all-around, and love gadgets, fantasy & sci-fi, comics, and animation.
If you like the idea of bringing in your projects and working for 5-6 hours with a friendly bunch who are doing the same, check out our facebook page at tinyurl.com/columbus-art-jam .
