i can't believe the blowout is saturday!!

so, we still need some volunteers, especially from about 9:30-close...let us know if you can help!
we are also still recruiting folks for our cmc sunday brunch shift...1-3 pmish with brunch provided!

and don't forget about our official afterparty at skullys sponsored by benco presents!

The PLBO was awesome. The music was just... fantastic. I enjoyed all the bands, but the Turks, the Gibson Bros, and Scrawl exceeded my expectations, and my expectations were high.

I've been a Scrawl fan for a looong time, but never got to see them live "back in the day." I'm so happy! Thanks Columbus Music Co-op!!

I had a good time. My only complaint was that the music couldn't be heard very well up towards high st. It was only bass and noise over there.

The tent was much farther back than it has been in previous years to accommodate the larger crowd they expected and got. When throwing events like these, you learn things every year and continue to make tweaks along the way. I was able to rock out to SCRAWL (OMG!!!!) sitting at the front gate last night, so it might have just been that certain bands carried more than others.

Glad you had a good time! I thought overall the crowd was super awesome and easy going and patient and appreciative and generous and I loved every minute of the day.

I had a great time volunteering at the front gate, although I was called a "Communist" by an older gentleman when I asked him for ID and wouldn't give him a PBR wristband until he showed it to me(I guess it was too much effort to pull out his wallet). :)

Looking forward to #6 next year!

Ha!! I love it! I thought it was interesting that no less than 12 people confessed to me that they were alcoholics. Well OK, get on with your bad self and wear your sharpie X's with pride. I love all the slices of life you encounter working the entry at these events. Entertainment for days!

Apparently, when you're in recovery you don't carry your ID on you, lol. No ID = X's. I don't care if you look like you came back from the grave to see Scrawl reunite, you ain't drinkin in this party without an ID.
