The Clintonville Farmers’ Market will celebrate "Farmer Appreciation Day" and the height of summer's bounty on Saturday, July 26. The public is invited to a cooking demo and presentation by famous Cleveland chef and farmers' advocate, Parker Bosley. The cooking demo and presentation will begin at the market tent at 9:30 a.m. Bosley will shop the market for a variety of summer vegetables and cook a ratatouille at the tent, which market patrons may sample. He will also share the latest on his work with Innovative Farmers of Ohio.
The Clintonville Farmers' Market is open Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon on N. High St., between Orchard Lane and W. Dunedin Road. Customer parking is in the two market lots: the Columbus Mennonite Church at 35 Oakland Park Avenue and the Brevoort Building, 3620 N. High St.
The purpose of the Clintonville Farmers’ Market is to promote locally grown produce and engage the Clintonville community in a sustainable food system. For more information about the market, call 614-395-6472 or visit Clintonville Farmers' Market
