The comments on the article do a pretty good job of mirroring my sentiments.

Yeah, this list is essentially worthless.
I was hoping for something that discussed the top restaurants in Cleveland and perhaps showcased new and rising restaurants, but this looks like a listing of every halfway decent place in town (many casual places too).
I'm going to try to get up there in a few weeks. Any new restaurants I should know about?

I haven't been there but it sounds like a fun casual place.

I haven't been there but it sounds like a fun casual place.Right, I saw that on the list and it's interesting, but much like the commenters on the article above I don't consider it an A-list spot like a Lolita or a Greenhouse Tavern. I'm looking for an above average sit down place.

Also it's worth keeping an eye on what Emerging Chefs have going on. Some very cool events.

I have heard a bunch of good things about The Greenhouse Tavern. If I visit a different town I tend to use Yelp reviews and the restaurant filters to find a place to try.

The Greenhouse tavern is fantastic. I've had a couple of great experiences there and following them on twitter makes me want to drive up to Cleveland on a weekly basis.

Greenhouse Tavern - amazing. B-spot, not. You can get a better burger at a lot of other places. I love Momocho- and it's not a huge budget breaker either.

5 Cleveland restaurants to take out of town guests.

Jonathon Sawyer of the Greenhouse Tavern has a new restaurant that just opened up in Cleveland: Noodlecat. Has anyone made it up there yet? I've been quite curious...

I've been to Lolita, but I would travel to Cleveland especially for these two restaurants, and here http://www.corkyandlenys.net/

We tried a great Korean place in Parma this weekend. Seoul Garden. Ordered 1 app. and 2 entrees and got more food than 4 people could eat. They gave us at least 10 dishes of banchan. Good quality food, great prices, all for $34 including tip.

I want to try Noodlecat and I'm also curious about Ginko which is meant to open this summer.
Pura Vida is also on my 'to try list'

Good googa-mooga, is the Greenhouse Tavern good! Went for ThaMissus' birthday and they hit every note perfectly. Foie Gras and clams, tartar frîtes, aye yie yay. Anybody ever bought "kitchen coffee" before? It was so cool. AND they have OYO whiskey. Did I mention the OYO whiskey?

i visited the Greenhouse without having read a single review. It was mentioned by a couple of friends with Cleveland connections (thank-you Patient Zero!) and that review shares my experience. I wish I could dine like that more often. My impending first annual 49th birthday will definitely be babysitter worthy, and I’m guessing I’ll “settle” for Alana’s or Deepwood...
