The videos could be too much for them, however knowing myself at ages 3 and 5, I would have preferred the truth and empowerment of a choice instead of white washed lies and ignorantly participating in something I would never agree with. (I regret that I did for so many years for those very reasons)Clearly a more delicate approach is warranted to discussing the same information. This approach would give them the choice to decide and is clearly more age appropriate (I do not, however, know if the circus is addressed):

That's one of the lamest things I've seen written in a while. And I'm on the internet all day.
By all means let's make sure a 3 year old is exposed to as much horrific "truth" as possible as early as possible. God knows we wouldn't want anyone to be 3-years old and not already terrified by the world.
Would you also have preferred to know at 3-years old that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairey and Jesus were all fake too?
