More like he defined the bridge between easy listening and Muzak.

As such, I agree with you on his appropriateness. It could only be a better match if Micheal Bolton did vocals.

It's Pops orchestra. What do you expect? They're not going to be doing "Der Ring des Nibelungen" or "Brandenburg Concerto Number 4 in G major"
