I got to tell you, today is excellent for urban cycling. The streets are as empty as they will get in the daytime for the year, its sunny, and not that cold :). I highly recommend anyone interested to jump on the bike and cruise around in the next hours before dark. Its a neat experience. Especially if your biggest barrier to urban cycling is a fear of motorized traffic... today that barrier is lifted.
I just rode to Clintonville up N. High St. from 1st Ave. I could see up the street from 1st Ave all the way to the orange barrels at Lane Ave. because of the lack of any pedestrian or vehicular traffic moving around and probably the clarity from the lack of much exhaust. Pretty Neat. Its very clear out right now.
Saddle up C-Bus :D
