the National Enquirer claims to have found Hansen, who's married with two kids, cheating on his wife with Kristyn Caddell, a Florida journalist and former NBC intern 20 years Hansen's junior. Cameras reportedly caught Hansen and Caddell sharing a a romantic dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in Manalapan, before spending the night at her Palm Beach apartment. Hansen has allegedly been cheating on his age-appropriate wife for the past few months.

I should probably expand that a little; fuck that guy for being the face of "trial by TV audience" in the 21st century. He's the closest we've come to a real-life Damon Killian, except it's almost sleazier because the unwilling contestants on his show haven't even been tried.
It's a horrible example of "guilty until proven innocent, white-vs.-black, everything-wrapped-up-in-under-an-hour so that you can feel better about your miserable life" agitprop that started with Cops but traces its roots back to the grindhouse exploitation films.
It cheapens the american system of justice, it cheapens the victims of actual crimes, and it cheapens the image of the society that clamors for it.

I'm all for innocent until proven. But if you are showing up at a 12 year old's house with a 6 pack of MGD and a box of condoms and they have a stack of explicit chat transcripts, how innocent are you?
