SwingColumbus has declared July to be MONTH OF THE NEWBIE!!

We made it crazy cheap to try out swing dancing this month!

1. Our July 17 dance is FREE and includes a FREE beginner swing lesson
2. Our weekly beginner lessons are just $5 this month only!
3. Our new weekly swing night at the Shrunken Head is just $5 and includes a FREE beginner lesson.

Monthly Dance
July 17
YWCA Downtown Columbus (65 S 4th Street)
8-9pm FREE lesson
9-midnight FREE dancing with local and regional DJs

Drop-in style, basics are covered every week but different moves taught. No experience or partner necessary!

Tonight is a 1-hr beginner swing class at 8pm for $5

Next Thursday is a 2-hr beginner class, 7-9pm for $15/$10 students (you'll be amazed how much you can learn in 2 hours!)

and next Tuesday at the Shrunken Head we'll have Chief Johnny Lonesome! They play New Orleansy jazz - the laidback, ramblin' kind, not the 'saints go marching in' kind.

$5 cover includes the beginner lesson at 7:30.

We went last night to the beginners class. I learned that I suck at swing dance, but I still had fun. The instructors were very helpful. More practice is needed for sure.
