Some good old funky throw downs, sure to be a good set... I check out his weekly XM radio show from time to time and it is one of the better shows on The Move.
My problem is that I have to work that night. How do I get a 5 hour change pushed into 2 so I can make it down?

This Saturday is my Birthday, so look out for me bouncing around Sugar being wasted off my ass, hopefully not getting into too much trouble.
Not sure if there has been an arranged Columbus Underground meeting place for this month, but why not Saturday night at Sugar? I cant think of anything better than techno and the thought that I'm half way to an age I'd rather not think about.

Yeah there is a meetup planned on Monday the 15th. I'm sure you'll have a blast for your birthday at Sugar. I'd go, but I'll be out of town all day Saturday. That's sort of the reason we try to do our meetups during the early evening on weekdays, so they don't conflict with other plans. With so many events going on during the weekend it's hard to get enough people to go to one specific event. Plus, a club with loud music isn't usually the best setting for hanging out and chatting. Also, not everyone on this site is a fan of house/techno, and I want the monthly meetups to be as inticing to everyone as possible. Also, not everyone wants to pay a cover to get into a place if they're not coming for the music and/or not planning on staying long.
But yeah, there can be an "unofficial" meetup at Sugar on Saturday. Just look for this guy and party with him! 8)

I really enjoyed him last night but it seemed about 65% of the crowd did not. I got there around 11:30 and the place was packed. Feelgood went on around 1:00am and by 1:30 there was only about a third of the crowd left. I was kinda sad really :? I guess by 1:30 the crowd realized he wasn't going to play hiphop :lol:

It all comes down to what you go out for. Do you go out to be seen, or do you go out for the music.

This is why I don't go out to event's at these places any more....
It hurts to hear that a lot of people left during his set.
And it really upsets me that I even though I want to support my friends who are putting these dope shows on, it suck that said shows are always being thrown at places that :
A. Brings a dope dj to a spot that has been and is mostly known for playin Top 40 in the main room,
B. and for having it a club that has a Dress code, which doesn't let in heads that REALLY want to go and who would appreciate a night of dancing to some dope tracks (I know I would have)
I have a lot more to add to this, but I gotta get off the computer right now :-)
