I was looking at my cell phone charges and noticed a city tax of $1.50 for Philadelphia and a PA tax on about $1.
So, I called Verizon to tell them that it has been three years since I left, can they update my plan.
The kind lady told me that my plan can be located anywhere even if I live in a different area so they had not updated my location based upon my mailing adress. I figured I could save the $2.50 by changing my location to Columbus.
OOOPS, wrong idea. There is a $4.00 cell phone line tax for Franklin county alone! Plus whatever the city and state was.
You guys just love to tax. Jeez oh pete.
So I left it in Philly.
But the next day, I'm thinking.... Wonder what city, county state has no cell phone tax. Any way to find out?
Late Edit: Here it is by state: http://www.askstudent.com/index.php?s=cell+phone+charges&x=0&y=0
