I'll 3rd the "Hell No" on Cold War Kids and politely add a "No, Thank You" on the Spoon show.
I have never been able to figure out the popularity of Spoon. I thought that Girls Can Tell was pretty damn good and everything since has been downhill. My favorite way to describe my feelings about Spoon to people is by the following analogy: Listening to Spoon is like having sex when you're drunk. i.e. It's alright. I won't complain. But, in the end there is no pay-off.
I always feel as if their songs lack that special something. They are pleasant enough but they all blend together in my head. The melodies and hooks are not memorable enough. The songs build toward a climax that never happens. In the end I always feel let down.

Yeah, same here. Seen SPOON a gagillion time, but damn was I excited about Cold War Kids. Robbers and Cowards was one of my top 10 of the year. I recommend anyone who's dismissing based on the over play of Hang Me Up To Dry on CD101 to give the album a chance.
Sound quality on this video sucks, but it's the song I'm anxiously awaiting!
