That's about as much warning as I can give, so if you're still reading this don't let me hear you bitching later. My impressions are:
1. Incredibly touching movie, which I believe to be 100% authentic. I know there are many skeptics, I don't choose to be one. I also think its an important movie, in this day of social media.
2. The advertising campaign was f'ing brilliant. This was a hard decision for me to reach, because I was almost pissed that the ad campaign didn't deliver anything close to what it promised, but then I changed my mind. The marketing of the movie was part of what made the movie special. It would have been a good documentary and a good movie before, but the ad campaign and the reactions it drew from me as I watched the first half made it work on a whole different level.
I was hinted at, if not promised, a story about a guy falling for a Facebook love that wasn't what she seemed and that there would be a Blair Witch style horror movie in the making. What I got was a commentary about the ability of social media to fill out people's lives who really need it and the fear and judgmental nature that goes with that...and without the promise or hint, I don't know that it would have worked as well.
I honestly can't remember a movie ever actually using its trailers and marketing to become part of the story like this until now, and for that reason, I am really struck by it as being brilliant.
