AUDITIONS FOR FEATURED DANCERS TO BE HELD APRIL 3OTH BETWEEN NOON-4PM Please read ALL information, you will need to call and schedule your audition and obtain a reference number. Pictured is the flier that is being circulated. Auditions are being held for professional dancers for the psychological suspense feature film written by Anastasia Heonis. Well known for her exceptional set design, writing and her published fashion editorials in magazines such as Gothic Beauty , Elegy, Devolution and many others. The dance scene for her debut film will take place in an underground dance club, so the atmosphere will be very dark and extravagant. One dancer will be chosen as the principle performer but there will be several other extra parts available. The principle dancer will wear an electrically lighted, corseted gown by Wilde Hunt Corsetry and potentially a large head dress or veil, as well. So please be comfortable performing in these types of garments. Please refer to facebook.com/KissMeDark and WildeHunt.com for examples, references and additional information. We would like interested dancers to choreograph and perform a short piece to Blood Lush by Anders Manga, which can be purchased via iTunes or at AndersManga.com. It's an electronic dance song but please don't feel stylistically limited to modern club dancing. We’d prefer to see more dramatic interpretations and encourage you to use a hybrid of styles whether your speciality is ballet, African, Balinese or Bharatanatyam. If you can perform it to Blood Lush, we want to see it! We're looking for a creative, elegant, macabre, gothic pastiche of a lot of styles. You will need to schedule your audition, please call 614-824-1569 to obtain more information and yourreference number. Auditions will be April 30th with an approximate FILMING date of early June. You will be working closely with Wilde Hunt for your wardrobe. All dancers will need to bring an id and will be required to sign a waiver. Call between 11am-10pm.
