I've been watching/enjoying it. Yeah, we know what's going to happen in the long run, but the same could be said for a WWII movie. Other than Bill Adama, we don't know what exactly will happen to any of the characters, and most of them would be naturally dead in 50 years anyway, so I don't think that lessens any drama in their stories.
I'm curious how far into the Cylon war they are going to get. I know that the series isn't so much a prequel as it is a series set in the past, but I think that Zoe-bot and Tamara both provide a lot more information about why the Cylons are. If, as the show seems to be working towards, Cylons are the virtual spirits of people who have died, that completely changes our perception of the non-skin-job Cylons. It's one thing for the robots to evolve intelligence and then rebel, it's another for them to have known humanity/freedom and then fight to get it back.
The Cylon/spirit/soul idea also makes a link to the larger themes of BSG. In fact, now that I think about it **SPOILER, if anyone is watching Caprica but hasn't seen BSG** that would go a long way to explaining what happened to Starbuck. For all of the "she's an angel" complaints, even that was never really explored. **/spoiler**
