I have whined for years about no chinese food in Clintonville. Yum Yum opened and it was a little disappointing for me from the quality of food and flavor perspective. I was excited/frightened when I saw the new Canton City in the same plaza. Has anyone else tried this place? If so, is it any good?

Where is it? I'll give it a try! :D

It's located south of the Beechwold Post Office on High Street in the strip mall next door to the PO parking lot.
I really like it! The lunch specials are afordable and the egg rolls are really good. Service is fast, and I suspect they'll run the other establishment out of business in short order.
They're open until 11 pm for those late night munchies.

I'm willing to try any place once, but this one looks a little scary from the outside. Sometimes that can be a good thing. I've had a craving for chinese lately and will try it soon.

Alright, I just checked it out for lunch. I like it a lot. It doesn't have that dirty, sticky vibe that a lot of small chinese places like it tend to have.
I ordered the chicken w/broccoli and one eggroll. The dish was delicious! Much better than what I've had at similar places. The veggies were firm and well colored. I could tell they were fresh. Nothing was soggy and watery. Everything had good flavor.
Go ahead and give this place your business! :D
edit: I'm glad this thread was made, btw. I don't think I would have given this place a second glance had I not read this.

I tried the Pa Thai (their spelling). #107. It was good enough to go back to try something else. It is very small so go with the carry out option.
