So is it safe to assume that everyone is picking this up next Tuesday?

Definitely! Though I'll be picking up Dragon Age in about an hour too. Oh and I'm still trying to finish Arkham Asylum. Ugh, I hate/love this time of year for video games.

I'll be going to the mid night release at Gamestop. As for the torrents players, word from Infinity Ward is that they are banning all those that show up on the leaderboards and are not authorized to play. Also there will be a general leveling of the player ranking so that every one starts fair.

How many gamers are still awake from waiting in line at midnight for this? Fueled by energy drinks.

I'm hoping I can find a copy somewhere today. I didn't pre-order so I am doubtful. tag = cr0m (unless taken by the same douche that sometimes grabs it before me).

I preordered mine and am picking up at Best Buy after work today....

This is the only place I've seen excitement for this game. My gamer friends are upset over the whole "no public server" fiasco. Of course these are PC gamers, console players never really had those features.

I heard (from Jacks facebook) that there were 100s of people in line at the game stop on highstreet at midnight last night.

Picking up my copy today at lunchtime (for PS3), and will get my ass handed to me tonight.

did anyone skip the offensive mission?I didn't skip it, and got about half way through it before the phone rang....it felt pretty unnecessary and gratuitous to be honest.
My PSN ID is honavery, but I think most people on here will be playing on Live. I'm terrible anyways. The game is good, but does anyone else feel like it's so frantic at times you're just doing L1 R1 (on the PS3 at least) as fast as you can without even thinking about it?

One major complaint I have so far is with the co-op. When playing co-op online with another player, you can only play with people on your friends list (i.e. no matchmaking with co-op). What if none of your friends are online or are playing multiplayer instead of co-op? Hopefully it's something they can release a patch to fix.

I couldn't even get multiplayer/co-op to work last night. I assume because it was slammed.
