Hey CUers, supporters of the arts and Franklinton fans!
The Franklinton Arts District is currently looking for volunteers to make the fifth annual Urban Scrawl festival a success. The festival features the live creation of temporary murals by artists. There are also craft and food vendors, live music curated by Columbus Music Co-op, a children's craft area, and breakdancers. Due to renovations at Dodge Park, the event this year will be held at 400 W. Rich St, a former factory warehouse that now houses artist studios and rehearsal spaces for musicians.
Volunteers are needed to help assist with set-up Thursday evening 8/25 from 6-8pm and Saturday morning from 9-noon. We will also need help selling beer, selling beer tokens, checking IDs and wristbanding drinkers from noon-9pm on Saturday. Tear down help will be needed Sunday evening 8/28 from 6-8pm. Please sign up for a shift and help bring this exciting event together.
Let me know if you can help!
