Hello CU! This is a volunteer call for any photographer who may be interested in working an event this Saturday. We are hosting a premiere & reception for our film (7-9:30 pm, Gateway Theater). Unfortunately, most of the photographers we know are also our invited guests. Is there someone who is interested in volunteering their services to us? You will need a digital camera & the willingness to shoot our guests/send files to our production team within the week.
In return, you will receive access to our dessert buffet (graciously catered by Mozart's), recognition at the event and print recognition in the program (if you commit by Wednesday so we can print), and a complimentary copy of the DVD. We will ask to retain copyright of the images, but will be glad to place your credit via watermark/URL on said images in any future publications.
If you are interested, please email clare@savingcarren.com or cal 614-403-8762, and include any samples of your work. We welcome multiple photographers if you have a partner or friend you would like to work with.
Background: This event serves to bring an educational documentary on sexual exploitation & the drug industry to Columbus. View a trailer @ http://www.savingcarren.com. All proceeds & donations will serve to deliver this DVD and accompanying educational materials free of charge to low-income schools in Ohio who cannot afford the licensing fees.

See, this is what makes Columbus awesome and why CU is so valuable to all of us. I have already have such a positive response from fellow members, and we secured an event photographer for the evening! I want to thank Brandon Presz for offering his services to us, as well as everyone else who responded.
You are all amazingly generous. Which is why I love this city!
