ROY G BIV Gallery for Emerging Artists is currently looking for artists for their third-annual members’ exhibition at the Columbus Metropolitan Main Library Carnegie Gallery at 96 S Grant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215. The exhibition will take place from Thursday, May 6th, 2010 through Wednesday, June 16th, 2010. Participating artists must be members of ROY G BIV Gallery. The exhibition will be curated by ROY G BIV
Gallery’s curatorial committee and gallery director.
ROY G BIV Gallery is a non-proï¬Ât art gallery located at 997 North High Street in Columbus, Ohio’s historic Short North District. ROY G BIV has been dedicated to supporting emerging artists since 1989, featuring thousands of artists during its twenty years of existence. We pride ourselves on bringing new and exciting art monthly to the Short North.

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS
Artists may enter no more than 2 pieces each. More than one piece may be accepted. ROY G BIV Gallery is not required to exhibit any work submitted. Works of all media will be considered for exhibition.
The work must use text as a visual element in the work.
Examples include but are not limited to comics, captioned photographs, and collage, to name a few. Creativity and ingenuity in the work is, as always, greatly encouraged.
The words comprising the text must be borrowed from previously published texts. These can be from a diverse array of sources - lyrics, printed articles, novels, famous speeches, slogans, etc.
Two-dimensional works cannot exceed 24†x 24â€Â.
Three-dimensional works cannot exceed a base of 10†x 10â€Â.
Flat work must be framed and wired for hanging.

CONTRACT
All artists will be notified via email upon selection.
Selected artists will be required to sign an exhibition
agreement and publicity release. ROY G BIV Gallery has a sales commission of 35% on works sold.
