Todd Reed, maybe you should meet me at the Treehouse for a little rock and roll 101 peptalk. I'll make you rock until you can't eat supper!:

Can we get back to that picture of the OP trying to stick a camera down his pants onstage?
Obviously this is the quality entertainment that I'm missing out on here in Columbus. That reminds me of something Tim Harrington from Les Savy Fav would do. For my money, the most entertaining front man out there.
Yeah, but Tim Harrington and Les Savy Fav make great music.
Yeah, I was trying to just insinuate that his band sounds like an assload of ass, but noone was pickin' up what I was putting down.

I'm sorry, but no, it's not possible to write a "good" song "no one" will like. You can think it's the best song ever and everyone else thinks it's shit (see countless unsigned acts touring the world today), but all you've done is written a song YOU like. To be "good" it generally implies timelessness, a universal approval of content and musicality. Not acknowledging that is simply ignorant. Not true. History of music/art is paved with forgotten talent. Besides, we're not talking about how well someone can play Ravel's concerto in G are we?
Classical music reference. Love It! Wish I would have thought of it.
What can I say? I like our terrible music scene. Great bands!
