I think I would have gone and bought him a pretzel.
maybe people were still pissed at the way he managed the rangers.
Good:
Some parts of the handling of 911 (the day of and maybe the following month)
Stimulating the ecomony after the stock market bust (if you were one of the wealthy)
The war in Afghanistan, just but still unfinished (Hum we hung the one not responsible for 911 nice)
Additional Bad:
Soaring Inflation
College tutition skyrocketing
States in Debt
Kyoto global warming pact - Are we the only country not on the list?
Hum, I can see why there were Boo's
The War in Afghanistan seems to be a tremendous failure at this point. Recent reports say the Taliban has retaken half the country, warlords control another 25%, with the US and NATO controlling a mere 1/4.
Add to that the country went from having completely wiped out poppy production in 2001 under the Taliban, to being the world's largest producer after our invasion.
Now, I'm not saying we shouldn't have invaded Afghanistan...I'm saying we should have done it right.
Instead, we have accomplished very little other than creating a drug super power and that's about it.
^^ On the other hand, my china white is coming in for WAY less.

Somehow, I doubt most people at an MLB game were booing the fact that we never signed Kyoto. Clinton didn't until his last day of office, either, and there's no way it will ever pass the Senate. I'd be surprised if it got a majority of Democratic votes.
War, civil liberties, immigration, inflation, and underemployment ... probably a different story.
Sounded like both booing and cheering to me.
I bet that devious little minx Cheney was piping in canned applause
They weren't booing - they were chanting "Booo-sh!"

Don't forget the 1,000,000 humans he is responisble for murdering in Iraq. Check out the pictures on the web... people melted together, faces melted off, head and brains scatted across the asphalt, children's body parts, nasty stuff. Bush started a war and has killed countless people. And our complacency to just let it continue is disgusting.
