The Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe could be torn down and replaced by a hotel under a plan by Continental Real Estate Cos.
The developer is considering putting a six-story, 134-room SpringHill Suites on the Olentangy River Road site. The nearly $20 million project would replace the 12-year-old Buckeye Hall of Fame restaurant, arcade and meeting center, which has been in receivership since spring.
“We are working toward doing a suites hotel at the site of the Buckeye Hall of Fame,†said Continental Chairman Frank Kass. “The Buckeye Hall of Fame would move to another location.
