Statues of Marconi & Tesla. I want that. They could be secret radio towers - I think both of them would approve.

Do we really need a statue of James Buster Douglas? I mean he only knocked out Mike Tyson, he didn't find the cure for aid's. Woody or Arnie? I imagine it would be on OSU's campus.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, left, with a statue of himself by Timothy Parks, right. One like it is set for Columbus. Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking up permanent residence in Columbus — or at least an 8-foot, 800-pound bronze sculpture of him is. The sculpture, which depicts the actor and former California governor during his 1970s bodybuilding prime, will be unveiled March 2 in front of Veterans Memorial during the Arnold Sports Festival.

Cool that it's going in front of Vet's Memorial due to the connection, rather than some hotter location that doesn't make any sense.
Three cheers for new public artwork. ;)
+1. Now only if Vets could get a makeover.

I'm totally for more statues of womanizers and misogynist fathers with out-of-wedlock love-children. Go Columbus! Get your "swagger" on!
