My wife is wondering if anyone knows anything about this program. She is looking to help several people without a GED, but this seems a bit circumspect.

You may want to consider the Life Skills Centers. There are two in Columbus. One is on the North side, on 161. The other is on South Hamilton Road, near Eastland Mall.
We have operated in Columbus since 2002. We are drop-out recovery schools where students aged 16-21 can return tuition-free and earn their high school diploma. We are fully accredited by NCA/CASI.
You can learn more about our program on our Facebook page:

Bridgescape is a high school graduation program that allows students to do work in a "blended" environment, where students are working partially on computers and partially with teachers. It allows students to get 1 on 1 attention as well as OGT prep and help with job searching, resumes, and interviews. Bridgescape is a free school for students between 14-22, which offers flexible hours to students, open 8am-4pm.
