Another fix considered for leaky Goodale Park pond

The Friends of Goodale Park hope the next fix will be the last they’ll need to plug the persistent leak at the park’s pond. Members of the group are discussing hiring a company to place a rubberized liner around the foundation of the sculpted fountain that the group installed last year, said Rick Miller, the design manager for Columbus Recreation and Parks.

I walked by there yesterday, and I swear those elephants looked embarrassed.
And I still hate the cake thing. I've tried to love it, tried to give it time to grow on me, but it looks like the base of a poinsettia tower at a home and garden show.

Well, given the primary season, I'm guessing they're not the only embarrassed elephants, so they're in good company. ;)

Today is the 2nd day in a row that Pro-Con is pumping water out of the pond. I guess all parties involved were able to come up with a plan of action...
On a side note: I don't think Pro-Con is a good abbreviation for a construction company. I'm not suggesting there's anything shady about Pro-Con.
