Im a groom but I can tell you we found most of ours through the knot, bridal shows, or word of mouth.
Remember, the wedding industry is worse than used car sales when it comes to shady practices and gouging. Always look at a vendors BBB record and do a cursory google search.

Since we had a destination wedding of sorts, we went with a lot of suggestions from the owner of the venue. Since there was always a wedding going on at her establishment, we took her advice on almost everything. The only letdown was our photographer, but he was one we brought in from Philly. He didn't listen to my requests and forced us to miss the cocktails after the ceremony. NOBODY should come between Rockmastermike and a cheese plate!
