WTVN's 'Morning Monarch' Bob Conners Announces Retirement

Bob Conners, who hosted the morning radio show on WTVN Radio for the past 33 years, announced on Monday that he will retire on Nov. 30. Conners started at WTVN in 1964 and was named morning show host in 1978. Colleagues nicknamed Conners the "Morning Monarch."
"Bob Conners has been a staple in Columbus radio for a very long time, consider the mold broken" said Mike Elliott, WTVN Program Director. "Bob always said 'Radio has been good to me,' but Bob Conners was good for radio."
