This just in! Friends of Goodale Park needs your help!
Blue Fence Removal, Saturday June 30th, 9am
Now that the Goodale Park pond is almost completely filled (yes, you heard correctly), we need to remove the blue fence barrier so that everyone can enjoy the new pond. Meet at the Goodale Park gazebo tomorrow morning at 9am to help out. The more volunteers we get, the quicker the fence comes down, and the sooner we can all get out of the heat!
Red, White & BOOM!, Tuesday July 3rd, all evening
Lots of visitors to Goodale Park to watch Red, White & BOOM! means lots of trash and recycling. Volunteers are needed to help set up trash & recycling bins, maintain the bins throughout Red, White & BOOM!, and collect all trash items and help clean up Goodale Park immediately following the fireworks. Shifts are available from early evening, possibly until 1am Wednesday, depending on the amount of cleanup and number of volunteers we can get. Email Julie at volunteercoordinator@goodalepark.org to help.
