COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Campus police said an employee at a local university allegedly used parking passes to gain a personal profit.
Officials at The Ohio State University reported that, for about a year, an employee turned a profit of nearly $40,000 in the illegal sale of parking permits, NBC 4's Lauren Diedrich reported.
Campus police said that an employee at OSU's Department of Transportation and Parking Services was responsible for the theft.
Well, that's one way to make some extra money in a State job... ;) Given that first year Freshmen aren't allowed to bring a car at all, and underclass students are stuck out on West Campus, I'd say the dude definitely had a good market.
