Anyone see the Kohl's commercial that's a parody of the Rebecca Black song "Friday, Friday", called "Black Friday, Black Friday"?

Yeah-I enjoy seeing the full length commercial of it. I still love the crazy Target lady commercials the best though. I think the utility belt one is my favorite.

It’s still fairly early in the day for many Black Friday shoppers. While some people have been in the stores for hours already this morning, others got a jump start last night, as a few national chain stores opened before midnight. WOSU talked with an Ohio State University marketing professor on what holiday spending looks like this season and this weekend’s best deals.

Why do I get the image in my head that is some blue haired retiree shopping for the grandkids?
I had to pick up a few birthday gifts for my sister and dad today. Avoided the Black Friday mess by staying local: a near empty North Market took care of my dad and gave me time to enjoy some good Polish food. Little sis turned 21 a few weeks ago so on the way to work I stopped at Lotte Oriental at Morse and High and got her a bottle of Sake, a sake cup set and some other goodies. Pretty painless day.

Until the numbers come in it won't be official, but all indications are this Black Friday is going to be big. At 2 p.m. Friday afternoon, area malls were packed -- and they had been that way since midnight. At Polaris Fashion Place, shoppers were shoulder-to-shoulder, a bag in each hand. At The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, they even brought in actor Mathew Underwood, a star of a Disney show to bring in the teen girls.
