I only recently was turned onto the phenomena that is (are?) bitcoin. Given that this is can be a rather tech-savy crowd, and given the fact that there are more than a handful of regulars with libertarian leanings I was curious if anyone had any experience with these things.
I've tried to do some research, but people either tend to hail bitcoins as the future of all commerce, or condemn it as one of the most dangerous inventions of all time. I'm sure neither extreme is true, but it's hard to tell where on the spectrum in between they actually fall.
Here's the article that first brought them to my attention:
My Money is Cooler than Yours
Anyone have thoughts? Or better yet, actual experience? (Not that the lack of experience ever stops any of us from having opinions. :) )
