Are there any pet bird supply stores around Columbus? I'm not interested in mega chains like Petsmart or wild bird supplies stores. Some place like this, where they make their own mixes for finches, parakeets, etc.: http://www.magnoliabirdfarms.com/Feedandseed.html

There is a decent sized shop on Riverside dr that looks to be all bird stuff, its right at Hayden Run and Riverside.

Sorry to hear about your bird Cab, I hope that she's recovering well! I stopped by the avian clinic the other day and they didn't have any seeds and said that a local bird store closed down.
Thanks for the Wild Birds recs, but I've been there before and I need a store for pets, not wild birds ;)
I guess I'll have to do mail ordering until I find a place. Shipping is EXPENSIVE though! *sigh*

I checked out Jack's and I'm glad that they carry bird seeds that don't look old or are painted with artificial colors. I'm not sure if it's just this location, but they didn't have a section for me to mix my own. It'll be my emergency store, though. And this time was certainly an emergency!
It was kinda sad looking at their puppies though.... if they didn't come from puppy mills, they could have easily come from smaller local breeders.
