Liberty Township is seeking Bike and Recreational Trail Input at a series of public meetings.
In order to reach as many citizens as possible, Liberty Township is partnering with neighboring jurisdictions and other established groups involved with providing recreational options to the residents of the Olentangy School District and beyond. In particular, the Township is seeking to update the Bike Path Master Plan Maps in anticipation of applying for bike path and park grants this winter. At least four meetings will be held for the purpose of identifying the public’s vision for the Liberty Powell area. Area citizens are invited to attend any input sessions scheduled and anticipate discussions on bike paths and “voting on priorities†with other members of the public.
The following dates, times and locations are confirmed:
• Monday, November 22, 7:00 p.m., City of Powell – City Hall
• Tuesday, November 23, 7:00 p.m., Deer Haven Park (Preservation Parks Interpretive Center)
• Monday, November 29, 7:00 p.m., TBD-as needed
• Tuesday, November 30, 7:00 p.m., TBD – Township Hall-wrap up session
• Monday, December 6, 7:30 p.m., Board of Trustees Meeting and consideration

Not sure if I will make it to a meeting, but it would be awesome if there was a marked bikeway from the Olentangy Trail Head at Worthington Hills to the Zoo. - Jody
