The City-wide Bike To Work Week Challenge website is up and running. You can sign up and join or create a team. Here's the URL: http://b2ww.org/columbus - 66 riders have signed up already and we'll be adding some cool features over the next month before the challenge begins on May 4th.
The national Bike to Work Week celebration is May 4th-15th, 2009 (yes, I know that this is really two weeks), and Columbus-area cyclists are hosting events all month long! So plan to gear up and ride with us all through May (and beyond, of course)! The events calendar can be found here: http://b2ww.org/columbus/b2ww-events
If you make just one trip to work by bicycle during May, you are likely to understand and embrace the benefits of bicycling for transportation. Cycling has a positive impact on your health, the environment, your bottom line, and your sense of well-being.
