So my girlfriend's bike was stolen sometime between 10pm 7/2 and 12pm 7/3 from her apartment building near Bodega (High and 3rd).
It's a blue ladies Schwinn with short chrome fenders, crusier style handlebars, all black tires, chrome-finish wheels, a wide black vinyl seat, and an internal 3-speed hub.
She's really heartbroken about this. If you see something, let me know. Thanks!

OP: I recommend that you post the picture and other information to Craigslist and also file a police report. If you have the bike serial number, make sure you give that to the police when you file your report. It increases the chance of actually getting them to pay attention to it..

Yeah I noticed that as well from the picture. lol sad the bike was stolen. Yeah the OP said it has black wall tires. I recognize the bike and will keep my eyes alert for it!
So it went missing during boom? someone prob. stole it to get home. or a ride on cota. So you may want to contact Cota to see if any bikes were left on busses that night!

BTW, I was just at Auto Zone on East 5th Ave by 71. In the parking lot was a super crapped out red chevy pickup truck with some junk in it & a ton of empty Natty Light tallboys. also tossed in the back was a light blue single-speed conversion with a tan Brooks saddle, and some funky handlebars with beige griptape. there was some sort of generator attached to the front fork. It looked like a pretty sweet bike, and I may be stereotyping but it didn't look like it belonged to the owner of the truck. I guess I throw some cool stuff in the back of my truck too, but I'm just saying…it seemed kinda suspicious.

Is there a CPD office just for stolen bikes? We were on our way home last night and some young women who were riding their bikes (or likely maybe not theirs) threw them down on the street and went running off. We pushed them back to a garage and would like to see if they were stolen last afternoon or evening.

You can probably call around to the various PDs and see if there are current reports. I would also get in touch with Third Hand and see if anyone has a flyer or has mentioned a bike stolen.
You can also post on Yay Bikes! and see who is missing what. I know of a handful of missing/stolen bikes in the last few months.
