NEW YORK (AP)  Police say four men were stabbed at a New York City nightclub advertising the "official" after-party for the film premiere of "Notorious" about rapper Biggie Smalls.
Police said Saturday a 21-year-old victim stabbed numerous times was in critical condition at Brookdale Hospital. Three other who were stabbed were in stable condition.
The Djumbala club is in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn about three miles from the slain rapper's home. Police did not immediately release further information.
Smalls was born Christopher Wallace and also used the stage name "Notorious B.I.G."
His debut CD, 1994's "Ready to Die," helped re-energize the East Coast rap scene. He was killed in Los Angeles in 1997.

Not really, but I'm still astonished at stuff like this. It's like when people were getting shot at Boyz in the Hood showings...didn't you SEE THE MOVIE?!?
This would be an inappropriate time to start talking about natural selection right? Oh there I go.
To misquote Flannery O'Connor
"The stupid shall enter first"
when history repeats itself, it is usually much dumber and far more obviously pathetic, see GW Bush as the second coming of Ronald Reagan
Wouldn't it really be the third, you know, after G.H.B?
Actually I can remember Bush 41's inauguration and feeling optomistic that the big bad wolf Ronnie Rayguns was getting on Marine One and going away for good. I was hopeful and grateful for the concept of term limits and the "peaceful transition of power". Bush 41 was less like Reagan than 43. Remember when there were moderate and liberal Republicans, Where have you gone John B. Anderson, Alf Landon, and Robert Marion La Follette, Sr.
Remember when Republicans were all liberals as in Adam Smith and Liberalism aka laissez faire
I guess not because I remember my parents letting out a loud groan at another 4 years. Of course I was only 11 at the time so maybe not. My biggest memory was Clinton getting elected and MTV making a big deal of it. This election reminded me of that too, trying to be hip and pull in the "youth" vote.
Looks like Easton isn't above the Biggie madness either:
gangsta gangsta's at the top of my 'list today :) To keep things in perspective, weren't there Twilight-related injuries in the past few months as well? I think anxiety management and patience are missing virtues these "me first" days.
