Big Woody’s Opens This Weekend
Columbus, OH (March 24, 2011) – Columbus’ Arena District is about to get a lot more lively as Big Woody’s officially opens its doors to the public this weekend with a VIP Grand Opening Celebration Saturday night.
Tickets are still available for Big Woody’s VIP Grand Opening Celebration at BigWoodysColumbus.com. Tickets are free, however attendees must sign up online prior to the celebration. Anyone who signs up for free VIP Grand Opening tickets will also receive a complimentary appetizer courtesy of Big Woody’s.
Prior to the Grand Opening Celebration, Big Woody’s will host a special ribbon cutting ceremony with the Big Woody’s staff and members of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce this Friday, March 25 at 4 p.m.
Inspired by Columbus’ rich history and tradition, Big Woody’s is the brainchild of its ownership group, comprised of three restaurant and bar industry veterans – Chad Shumate, Trey Morton and Christopher Ortleib. The trio has nearly 30 years of restaurant management, sales and marketing experience between them and they will put that knowledge and expertise at work with Big Woody’s.
Big Woody’s will offer a full menu for dinner featuring classic bar and pub staples such as Big Woody’s wings and pizza, plus an assortment of appetizers and grilled panini sandwiches. The bar will serve up nightly happy hour specials and dozens of televisions will show all the big games.
Open Monday through Saturday from 5 p.m. until 2:30 a.m., Big Woody’s is located at 165 Vine Street in Columbus, just blocks from Nationwide Arena and Huntington Park.
